Rouz Tropik


A floral and refreshing cocktail that brings together island botanicals with a touch of elegance.

Let the vibrant red of hibiscus meet the earthy depth of rooibos and the brightness of lime in this lightly sparkling drink. Rouz Tropik is an ode to island sunsets and the earthy flavors of the tropics, perfect for warm evenings or a festive apéro under the palms.


Ingredients (for 1 cocktail)

  • 15 ml fresh lime juice
  • 20 ml Verger Créole Hibiscus Syrup
    (or substitute with Ginger & Lemongrass Syrup for a spicy twist)
  • 45 ml brewed rooibos tea, cooled
  • 15 ml amber rum
  • 30 ml tonic water
  • Ice
  • Optional garnish: dried hibiscus petal, fresh mint, or lime slice


To Prepare

  1. In a shaker filled with ice, combine the lime juice, hibiscus syrup, rooibos tea, and amber rum.
  2. Shake briefly to chill and blend the flavours.
  3. Strain into a chilled glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Top with tonic water and stir gently.
  5. Garnish with a dried hibiscus petal, a sprig of fresh mint, or a lime slice for a tropical finish.
