We carry within us the memory of a time when nature was abundant and intimately known. But through history, many of these connections have been broken. Much of our flora has been lost, silenced, or forgotten. Le Verger Créole exists to help us remember. To taste again. To reconnect with what was once ours, and still can be.

Our inspiration comes from the island itself through the rhythm of Creole music. Rooted from a mosaic of influences, born of resourcefulness and shaped by history. We are creating a vibrant and inventive way of life. This is our terroir: a living, breathing ecosystem of memory, creativity, and connection.

From Ferney’s Fields
Our local raw ingredients are grown in the fertile valley of Ferney, nestled in the south-east of Mauritius. Surrounded by native forest and nourished by rich volcanic soil, this preserved landscape offers the ideal conditions for cultivating natural, flavour-rich plants , the essence of our creations.
Green Amelys cultivates Mauritius’ finest raw ingredients premium-grade, chemical-free, and hand-harvested with care. Grown according to the rhythms of nature, each plant is picked in season and preserved using gentle methods that lock in its full flavor and potency.
